Product Review I bought this as the snare upgrade to a Roland TD-1K after a year's worth of playing & learning drums. I forgot to order the bracket, so I went to my local music shop and got a comparable one..just FYI if you are thinking about doing the same. I noticed the responsiveness difference right away and my snare technique has improved drastically with this new pad. One caveat is that you cannot take advantage of the rim sounds with the TD-1K sound module. I will need to upgrade to the TD-11 (or higher) module to take advantage of this dual zone pad. (Snare/Rim)

Product Review My first venture into V-Drums/mesh pads coming from old Roland PD-8s has been great! These pads are extremely responsive and large enough to mimic a real set. Very happy with the dual triggers and tunable heads. Super quiet too. Roland and AMS rock!

Product Review I bought this as an upgrade to my TD-11Kv system. It has a slightly higher rim, and a larger playable area then the default mesh pad. After adjusting adjusting the drum head tension, the pad settings, and turning down the sensitivity adjustment it became apparent that this is a very responsive device. Now that I'm getting used to it I really enjoy playing it!
