For a Roland.......Worth every penny!
Quality:
Very well made..... It's lightweight but has a very solid feel to it......
Features:
Very well laid out .... easy to understand...
Ease of Use:
Out of the box... it's a plug and play.....nice presets.... interface is excellend for adding sounds, tweeking sounds, and writng your own from scratch.... whether your a beginner or a seasoned player.... your imagination is guaranteed to take over... the manual is very well laid out and easy to understand as is the panel on the Synth itself.....my only sugestion would be a LCD panel with a description of the sound you just pulled up along with the ability to edit that description would be nice. Memorizing 64 sounds can be a bit challenging..... especially if you tweek and edit constantly.....
Sound:
Tone is unbelievable..... The Roland sound is hard to beat and harder to match..... the ability to tweek that sound to your own application is second to none....
Action:
Full size keys ... touch sensitive..... weight is nice.... getting around the panel to tweek while you're playing is a breeze.....the "D-bar" is unbelievable during a live performance.....
Value:
A Great value for a Roland..... others may cost less... but the Cost/Value ratio is much higher for this Synth.... I've tried others ... but they alway left you wanting more....not so with this Synth....
