Overall this is a great product.
Sound
How is its Tone?
Tone is excellent. Drums sound very real and is super sensitive. If looking for a drum kit I would either buy this one of the td 9. I chose this one because of its mesh heads. The mesh heads are supreme, the td 9 brain has alot more sounds, so it's a personal choice.

The quality is evident from the moment you open the packaging. The packaging itself is thoughtfully designed to sufficiently protect the drumset, which is made of durable components. The most sensitive components are the mesh drum heads, which is to be expected. But as long as you aren't dropping the mesh onto pointed objects or being careless with your set, your sturdy Roland TD4-SX should last a long time.
Sound
How is its Tone?
The sounds are good, although don't expect much volume output from the TD4 module. It's just fine for headphones, but if you have the idea to hook this up to speakers, you'll want an amplifier of some kind.

Yes, Roland quality is excellent. For a compact e-drumset, designed primarily for being used to practice, this is a great set.
