Subject:Don't waste your money!
Quality: Seems sturdy enough
Reliability: Still works after 6 months
Overall: Lots of cool features but lacks essential guitar sounds. I thought I could use this to replace my Line 6 Variax guitars (and use some of the USA-made beauties I own) but it was not to be. Even though it has a digital whammy that I really liked, the guitar sounds in this box are just plain LAME compared to the Variax. There aren't enough to choose from, and some of them aren't even CLOSE to sounding like the real thing, especially the Strat sounds. Line 6 NAILS this, but Roland falls far short. I was similarly disappointed with the acoustic sounds. The Les Paul sounded OK after I tweaked it a while. Since I need all these sounds (and more) in my band, I could not use the VG-99 as my main "axe".
Playability and Feel: Some latency when switching patches
Tone: Factory sounds seems muted, need lots of tweaking to sound right
Finish: Boring silver
Action: Intricate interface took a long time to decipher
Skill Level: Semi-Pro
