Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Designed in the US but built in China it is amazingly well made. Very good fit and finish. Wasn't sure about the black color but it looks awsome and i'm pleased.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've heard good things about their longevity. Hope to pass it on to another beginner in a year or 2 when i upgrade.
General
Your general opinion of this product.
After 2 false starts (age 16 and 28) i'm going to learn to play. Very happy with this starter guitar. The price for the kit was excellent, received it in excellent condition in 3 days and it looks fantastic. Now if i can only build my callouses and learn a couple of blues licks i will be happy. Guitar players get the chicks!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Still feels a little large and my fingers hurt and don't go into chord shapes yet but i will let you know in a couple of months.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Nice tone but will know more tomorrow when my friend comes over for my 1st lesson.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
It was barely out of tune and sounded nice straight from the box.
