Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This guitar is made of solid mahogany...how can it not be high quality? Also it goes through quality control (at least mine did), which Squiers do not. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have had this guitar 6 months now, and i can safely say it is just like the day i brought it home, except for a string change! Overall Your general opinion of this product. this guitar has it all! overall, IMO it beats a Gibson Les Paul Standard...at a fraction of the price! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? the guitar is heavy, as are all Les Pauls...but that makes it sound that much better...very easy to play much easier than my Ibanez acoustic (obviously but besides the action the fretboard is much more smooth) Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? the pickups are perfect as they come...the sound can be as thick or thin as you want, that really depends on your amp for the most part but in general a bit thicker and darker since it has dual humbuckers. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Finish is just as good as a real Gibson. The picture doesn't do it justice! Action How was the action out of the box? I can't say how it came originally since i bought it locally and the guy I bought it from had already taken it to his luthier for a setup.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Its already made well. Reliability How has it stood up over time? just got it yesterday but I dont care this guitar is awesome. Overall Your general opinion of this product. i love it Your general opinion of this product. When I got it right out of the box, it looks identical to a Gibson Les Paul that comes at a waay cheaper price that can save your life instead of getting broke buying a guitar in the 1000's range. Then I started tuning it, then I started playing the thing and I was shocked how it sounded like. Waaay better than the Squier stratocaster pack I had. So this Ssl3 I played hard rock with it, I played Sabbath, Kiss, Zeppelin, some Free Bird, Jus sounds like a high quality guitar that would cost around 5,000 if it was a Gibson. I played Jazz Fusion with it, some Zappa, Santana. It just sounds so amazing, I shredded the motha too. Im like man Im about to kick my squier strat to the curb. This one is a classic guitar. A must have not only for its price. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? When I played it not only did it shock me that it sounded great but I noticed and felt that the strings were pretty soft, not that it was easy to break soft but soft and durable which made playing the guitar very easy. Compared to the other guitar's their string hurt's your fingertip's especially if its new. This one is perfect and durable. The neck was great. The guitar when i lift it doesnt feel heavy to me. I think its a bit lighter than the Epiphone's. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The pickups are great. Just has that classic feel of switching pickups and the sounds just change in a way that it still sounds totally great. Other guitars, you change pickups and it doesnt sound quite as great as the other pickup. But This guitar the pickups are all great. I love lookin at those great silver shiny humbuckers. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Totally high quality and Awesome. Looks like a Gibson Les Paul if you werent looking at the Silvertone brand on the headstock. Great Paint Job and Finish. 5 out of 5. Action How was the action out of the box? Tuned it and played it right away after tuning. Sounded very high quality. Sustain was great. I was surprised how it sounded like. No fret buzzes or anything like that. Im like THANK GOD.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Quality is top notch Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've had it for over a year now and everything has worked fine. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is a great, inexpensive but well made guitar Your general opinion of this product. this guitar is beautifully designed and plays nicely. Stays in tune, and sounds great. i would highly recommend this guitar for everyone. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? This is a heavy guitar (as are most lp guitars) but that adds to the tone so live with it. It has a fast profile neck and all the adjustability you would expect in an LP Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Classic humbuckers Classic tone from nice cleans to overdrive classic rock. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? This is a beautiful guiter Action How was the action out of the box? Not great, But i adjusted the intonation and put new slinky's on it and now it plays great. Stays in tune well.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? superior workmanship; mine's almost 2 years old and I'm just as happy with it as the day I got it(if not happier) Reliability How has it stood up over time? mine looks and plays like the day I bought it -- actually, the more you play it, the better it sounds Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is an awesome guitar at any price! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? mercifully, it's not quite as heavy as a Gibson (no aching shoulders after hours of playing); neck was made for string bending Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? plays some of the sweetest blues I've ever played; I own other guitars but this one is by far my favorite Finish How did the stain or paint job look? absolutely beautiful finish Action How was the action out of the box? Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? this guitar i believe has the same quality as a 4 thousand dollar les paul they are very well made and from my opinion they are very dependable Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've had mine for about a year and a half and it's held up to my punishment pretty good and i beleive it will withstand juss about anything as long as you don't purposely try to break it their juss flat out great guitars and i love them Overall Your general opinion of this product. I've played strats telecasters and even a les paul but for the price these little silvertones are the best they sound great they feel comfortable to play and i actually think fender and gibson have some real tough compition cause no lie i would much rather have my silvertone before i would anything else !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? this guitar is so smooth and easy to play the neck is awesome the knobs are easy to get to while playin it's juss such an easy guitar to get use to playin but it is a little heavy bein a solid piece of wood that in the begining it will hurt your shoulder after a while if playing standing up but you'll get use to that after a while Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? this guitar sounds great a buddy of mine has a les paul with B.C Rich pickups and this silvertone has juss about as good as a sound or if not a better sound but you know different people have different opinions but i still say a silvertone has great sound to it Finish How did the stain or paint job look? the whole guitar was awesome you can tell that somebody put a lot of effort into makeing this guitar the paint is great the body is smooth it's juss a piece of artwork it really is Action How was the action out of the box? when i first got my silvertone i wasn't to crazy about the strings on it but i was amazed when i first played it cause it had the same clarity as other guitars that cost thousands more it amazed me so i don't see why it wouldn't amaze anybody else

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The finish is perfect, the clearcoat is top notch. All chrome is perfect, no flaws at all. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Not a flaw to be found on the one I received. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I LOVE this guitar. Its every bit as good as the mim strat or squire start i play. You can buy this one, I paid 139.00 on a competing site, or you can pay over 500 for the exact same thing with the epiphone name on it. Do yourself a favor and research the name Samick, You will be very surprised as to what they make and for whom. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels great now that I got the action where I like it. The board doesn't give you a rash sliding up and down like some low priced ones do. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The pickups do their job well, no complaints. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish was perfect. Not a flaw anywhere. It even came with the protective plastic still on the pick guard and other parts. Came in a box within a box, then foam wrapped. Shipped directly from Samick. Action How was the action out of the box? Action out of the box was typical, It was not tuned and the saddle had to be adjusted. That took all of less than 5 minutes and mine was set at 2/32 at teh 12th fret. Very respectable.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? its was a 6/10 when i got it out of the box but now its 2/10 Reliability How has it stood up over time? not good and its been 2 months Overall Your general opinion of this product. there's a reason why this guitar is only 200$ ive had mine for not even 2 months and its already falling apart the knobs are all falling apart.strings came rusty and the guitar had scratches on it Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? the neck some times was sticking to my hands not very smooth Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? if you want a guitar get it from a good brand like fender or a real lespaul dont waste your money on a knock off brand. if your starting out or have only been playing for 1 or 2 years and just want a good guitar still dont buy this go to a pawn shop you can get great deals there or a local music store just dont buy guitars online Finish How did the stain or paint job look? looks nice but is put together bad Action How was the action out of the box? not good you can tell they didn't put much time in it or check it very well

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I would say that it rivals the Epiphone Les Paul Standard. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I'm still playing after 2 years, what does that tell you. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I've been playing off and on since high school and I REALLY Like this guitar. While it's not a Gibson Les Paul It is affordale and you would hard press to find another at this price with a set in neck.I've used it for rock and through a Marshall it sounds great.I've had mine over 2 years and I'm still gigging with it.Not to mention the finish(Cherry Sunburst)is beautiful. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It has an expensive guitar feel to it.The action is right on target.
