Purchasing this laptop stand has been one of the smartest purchases of my life. I don’t think many of us have taken the time to consider how silly we look having our expensive computers on top of stools, amps or even on the ground??????? This laptop stand automatically brings about a feeling of professionalism visually & it just makes using the laptop for stems or loops a lot more accessible during performances. I don’t know what the heck I was thinking by not having this item??

This stand is made very sturdy. It has a slip proof pad that is actually sticky but leaves no residue. It holds your laptop firmly.

This laptop stand is a monster. I have an On-Stage laptop stand as well, but this one is so durable it also holds my MPC Live, which is 3x's as much weight as my Ipad. I love the build quality, the locking system for security, I will order another one in the near future. Thanks Samson!!!

This Laptop Stand is sturdy and has a sticky pad on it so that it can grip your laptop & it doesn't slip. Love the locking latch which is easier than knobs that needs to be turned. This design of everything on this is really awesome. I love it and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice, sturdy laptop stand that has tripod base.

This is an essential piece of equipment for any keyboardist using a computer for live performances. It's very sturdy and comes with a sticky pad that holds your laptop in place in case the stand gets bumped accidentally. The stand has a small footprint and is easy to setup and teardown.

I bought to place a laptop computer on it, at my Music Workstation. Easy to adjust.Up/Down/Tilt. 1-2-3 and it's set up. I liked it SO much I bought a 2nd one about a week later and have my Tascam Digital 8 track recorder on it. I'd recommend this stand. You won't be disappointed !!!

Stand showed up on time and box was pristine . The stand was far sturdier than I envisioned and the sticky pad included was an added plus . I am in the process of ordering another to hold the three wireless transmitters I/we use live . Well worth $50 bucks .

The laptop stand is ultra sturdy!!!! This is a great product; I can see using it on stage if I need to read some of my poetry I could use it in a pinch for a stand when I’m video recording. It’s plenty tall and again VERY sturdy AND was delivered fast. One of the few times I have shopped online and been blown away by the greatness of a product upon delivery..

I couldn't believe the product I received it in the mail. For the price, I was expecting something flimsy but doable. It is genuinely sturdy and even comes with a sticky to keep your laptop in place. It came swiftly as well. I've used it on a few video shoots now. A happy surprise.

I use laptops at events not just for the audio side, but also for driving LED screen arrays, projector arrays and complex DMX automation (among other things). Having a stand this sturdy is essential and keeps the laptop as close to me as it can possible get. I need to buy another!

This Samson stand is one of the best I have seen. Very sturdy, well thought out and constructed stand. Can be used for Laptops up to 15”, Drum Machines, IPads or any other music peripheral you need for you home studio or gig. I will be purchasing another one of these as its so convenient and well thought out. The pad that is included to ensure you laptop, iPad or drum machine does not move or fall off is genius. I was not expecting this stand to be as well made as it is . I use it for a Mackie board at gigs alongside me in a trio. I never really paid attention to Samson products , but I sure will from now on ! Excellent , heavy duty , but lightweight .stand . Will serve many purposes.

Ordered one of these and a quik lok stand at the same time. The shelf is a bit smaller, but I had this one together in 5 minutes whereas the quik lok took 30 minutes just to mount the shelf. This is a great tablet/computer stand. Highly recommend this one. And it was cheaper!

I was a little hesitant to get a stand for my laptop as I use a i9 MacBook Pro to run back tracks and lights for my band, but after using this stand for a couple gigs I have no worries. The gel pad that comes with it is incredible, I’m certain the laptop isn’t going anywhere when it’s on this stand.

I received this stand on time and intact. Opened the box and had a minimum of parts to assemble. Once assembled, the stand was very sturdy and also comes with a non slip mat to apply to keep the computer from moving. The height of the stand is perfect for what I need it to do. I definitely will suggest this stand to any serious musician or anyone else!!!

This stand is very sturdy. We use a Behringer XR18 mixer on stage so it requires a laptop. I have always put the laptop back on my amp and I worry about it falling off. This stand is the perfect solution. It is a dedicated surface for my laptop and it is actually adjustable to the right height so I can make adjustments to the mix without having to bend down. It folds up small except for the laptop tray, but it will come off and go relatively flat. After I got the stand I was using it in my home office so I could stand up and work for a while. I get tired of sitting all day at work and this makes a nice change. Now I need another one so it won't have to do double duty. I would recommend this highly. Should have gotten one years ago.

I've been using this for stand for a projector, a computer and my eurorack synthesizer. It folds up nicely and feels sturdy. Well worth the price. My only beef with it is that I wish the tray could be removed from the connector so that I can attach it to other things, like my synthesizer. Right now, they're welded together. Storing the tray is the tricky part, but it still folds up a lot smaller than an X-stand or something else.

To save money, I got it from the "Slightly Blemished" section. This stand is amazing! The bottom is thick, durable metal. It expands with fast locks which aren't very reliable. Good thing they have safety lock pins. The tray is thin metal, strong enough to hold up to 7 lbs (3 kg). My tray was slightly bent, but I straightened it out with pliers...which I didn't mind from the blemished section. A 17 inch laptop wont fit in this tray though. It stands shortest at 31 inches (79 cm). Extended, 45 inches (114 cm). I love it! I've been using it every day!

I have been looking at this stand on and off again for about a year and a half. Glad I finally pulled the trigger on it. It extends to a height that allows me to run my DAW laptop above my two tier keyboard stand so I can change programs and have visual feedback at eye level, whether standing or sitting. It's got a very nice amount of adjustment, up and down as well as rotational tilt. I very well may buy another for my other laptop.

I was pleasantly surprises at the sturdiness of the Samson LTS50 stand when I received it. It is almost as hefty as a speaker stand. Only suggestion is that the tray could be a few inches wider, considering the strong base. Great stand.

I bought this to support my laptop on stage, which I use for virtual instruments. It gives me a sturdy, stable platform for that purpose, much safer than the barstool I had been using! It worked so well that I'm buying a second one for my keyboard mixer.
One minor complaint: the back lip prevents the computer from sitting flat on the platform. This is only a problem because my laptop is larger than average, with a 17" screen. 15" laptops should fit just fine. But something to consider if you're using it for a projector or a mixer or any item more than 10 3/4" in depth.

I'm using this to hold my new MacBook Pro while I'm training on my bike indoors. Pretty sturdy, and appreciate the pin to hold the platform in place "just in case". Though I don't think I'll really need the silicon mat, it does keep my computer in place.
