Action How was the action out of the box? 95% perfect, just needed a minor adjustment. Intonation was spot on. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Not a single flaw that I could see out of the box, and I gave it a good inspection. Feels solid, doesn't feel cheap. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've owned it for a month and it is still in the same perfect condition it came in out of the box. Schecter has really impressed me. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is probably the only 8 string guitar that could ever satisfy me, it is so close to perfection to my taste it is incredible. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels solid, not heavy but not light. The neck is ridiculously fast and thinner than the normal Hellraiser neck. Best Schecter I've ever played. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Tone is definitely Dark, but almost has a bright quality as well. The low end booms thanks to the mahogany. The Blackouts could stand to have gain control on their pre-amp, they're just a little too hot. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The Aged White is the most gorgeous white I've ever seen, it is a beautiful finish.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This guitar looks heavy, however it's very light in nature. It's very cozy to play. It showed up at my home with a little bit of high action. I had it setup by my guitar tech, and problem solved. The beefy 8 strings are sooo awesome. There's no flub to these stings. The satin finish feels so smooth and almost like skin. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had this thing for a short time, but I'm totally sure that It will last a good while. I'm very happy thus far. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This guitar is totally hip and comfortable to play. Looking to turn some heads and ears? Check this thing out. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The overall feel of this guitar is just pure power. Hands down. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I love the snappiness of the ebony fretboard. I wouldn't go back to rosewood ever. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? You have to feel it to believe how smooth this thing is. I'm in love with it. It looks like a stealth fighter. Action How was the action out of the box? The action was not bad. It was setup at the bridge very well. The hipshot is total brutal and comfortable and easy to palm mute. I'd recommend having a setup performed on this guitar. They have it setup for someone who doesn't like fret buzz. I' like it very low with just a bit of buzz.
