Amazing Guitar for an Amazing Deal
Quality:
Very well built with good hardware. I would expect to gig with this for the next 10 years...
Sound:
The tone is excellent, I did raise the pick-ups to Gibson's recommendations and it really boosted the sparkling sound of the bridge pickup and made the neck sound more "bell-like". It is wonderful.
Reliability:
I have owned for 3 months now with no problems at all.
Overall:
Overall this is a quality guitar. Straight out of the box it had an excellent set up. I like my action a little low so i gave a have a turn on both sides of the bridge and it was PERFECT!!!
Playability and Feel:
The neck is a little thick to me. It is definatly no 60"s Les Paul, but still plays well.
Tone:
The tone was awesome. nice and smooth right out of the box.
Finish:
The finish was a little darker than I expected, but I am still really pleased. In bright venues the quilt top does shine through very well.
Action:
The action was great, but as I said, I like my action low so just half a turn down on the bridge (both sides) was perfect for me, but with no adjustments, your average guitar player would still love it

Nice Tones Super Materials
Quality:
Very well made for a production \consumer market guitar. Nice design and engineering, good nut and tuners seem solid, chrome look good\thick coating, not cheap like some other brands. Strong strap nuts and solid feel overall.
Sound:
Sounds great for everything from DiMeola to Beck to Journey to Metal and Southern Rock.
Reliability:
So far, my only compalint is the strings that came with sound flat, I will change them out soon and perform a line-up in a few months.
Overall:
Waited 4 years to buy this , now being discontinued, soI grabbed one up and am very happy with it so far ( 1 month). Exceeding expectations.
Playability and Feel:
Not too heavy like Les Paul, not too thin like a Strat, just right, neck heel is a little wide at first, neck rosewood fingerboard with MoP inlays - awesome, bindings are as high of quality as the inlays. Fret wire could be a little wider in my opinion.
Tone:
Clear Tone, not too bright lots of output in the 300 Hz to 5K Hz range on these SD pickups, a little mellow tone on the leads like on 70's guitar solos (Frampton, Blackmore, Hargrett). Great for covers of 70's and 80's songs.
Finish:
No flaws on this unit at all, very nice gloss finish all over. No scratches, truple boxed for protection, outer most box had dent, but none of the others.
Action:
Very nice, no dead spots , low action, very easy to get pick squeals and strong harmonics.

I love this guitar!
Quality:
Very well made. I could not find any flaws in the finish, the only other guitar I can say that about was my Martin.
Sound:
It sounds sweet in position 2 and 4. It sounds agressive in 1,3 and 5. I was unsure of the SD Jazz pickup before I tried it but it sounds great. I thought I would change it out but after using it I changed my mind. The JB is great for distortion. I would compare it to a PRS.
Reliability:
Only had it for a month, but I think it will hold up fine
Overall:
This guitar is finest one I own, and I have over 20 guitars. Its looks, plays, sounds fantastic. I bought the blue one. I have had it for about a month now. I put all my other guitar back in there cases . This is the only one I need.
Playability and Feel:
Mine weighs 7 1/2 pounds. Lighter than my les paul and heavier than my Strat. It balances just right. The neck is kind of wide and thinner than a les paul, it plays great. It is hard to put it down. I play it every day, get up in the morning looking forward to playing it. I have been doing some recording with it and it is very inspiring to play.
Tone:
The tone is sweet in position 2 and 4, and agressive in 1,3 and 5. Kind of bright sounding, not dark by any means.
Finish:
The guitar looks great. I had been wanting a blue guitar and I am glad I waited and bought this one. I bought the trans. blue one. Mine looks more flamed than it does quilted. Its the best looking guitar I have, and I own over 20. Some Les Pauls and Strats but this is one looks better than all of mine. The vine inlays are very pretty. Hard to beleive for the price. That neck inlay just sparkles.
Action:
The action was a tad high for me so I lowered it. Every body has different opinions on how they like there guitar set up.

Best Budget Guitar on the Market!
Quality:
Seems to be very well made. It has lots of upgrades direct from the factory. (pickups, nut, tuners)
Sound:
This is where this guitar shines to me. I have upgraded my SG to the same pickup combination, but the tonal variations are so much more impressive with this guitar. The 5 way pick up selector along with the tone woods make this thing sing.
Reliability:
Just got it but it is built very, very solid.
Overall:
This is an outstanding guitar. It is very unique in looks, features and playability.
Playability and Feel:
To me it feels like a blend. It's not as fast as my SG or is it as smooth playing as my Strat but it is somewhere in between. Reminds me of some PRS Necks I've played.
Tone:
The tone is pretty smooth, although I could get a very strat like sound out of my clean channel with the coil split. Overdriven it seems they were driving the tubes harder than regular single coils when they were split so it didn't sound like the strat, however it had a very unique sound that I liked.
Finish:
Beautiful, Deep finish. The abalone inlay was set perfectly in the neck.
Action:
Better than any other guitar i've ever bought. I think I will still lower the action a little just for my personal taste, but it is set at a level that feels similar to other guitars I have played that were professionally set up.

Schecter C-1 Classic 3 tone
Quality:
This guitar is made extremly well as far as i can tell, i would use this guitar live without a backup its dependable!
Sound:
The tone is amazing for any style from metal to country, the pickups are great!
Reliability:
Only had it a few weeks, but very durable it will last.
Overall:
Great guitar great value at 499.00, the most versatile guitar ive ever played!
Playability and Feel:
Its a little heavy, which is good in my opinion, the neck is smooth and very fast, easy to play, the controls are very well placed and strong they will last!
Tone:
The tone is great i mainly play with distortion and the pickups handle it just fine, they can get a little noisy though, the clean sound is very nice, you get a wide variety of tones with the 5 way selector switch!
Finish:
The finish looks great i cant find any flaws at all and im very picky about guitar finishes!
Action:
The action was pretty good out of the box, the whole setup was good!

C-1 Classic
Quality:
Well made and very dependable. Not perfect however. On my last one, the 5 way switch developed a small glitch. I may replace it on this one right away.
Sound:
All you can ask for when all you have is $500 in your pocket. The Seymour Duncans really make this thing sing. Neck through construction and string through body design give a very solid feel, but also deliver great sustain and consistent tone.
Reliability:
Mine withstood everything I threw at it, and never missed a beat. Hope the new one stands up as well, but I have little doubt it will.
Overall:
I had a C-1 classic for a couple years, and like a fool I traded it away for an amp. I could not live without this guitar, so I bought another! The quality, the look, the feel, the tone, all put this guitar well above its modest price tag.
Playability and Feel:
I use it for mostly clean tones, Jazz and blues. The neck feels as fast as I am. I have other guitars with "shredder" necks, and this is not those guitars. The feel is solid and predictable. If I have one criticism here, it is the placement of the 5 way switch. It is a common placement, but I find myself accidentally bumping it on occasion.
Tone:
Tonally this guitar sings. I really like the Jazzy sounds I can get on the Jazz pickup, and the single coil split on the neck pickup has a great stratty sound as well, although it experiences a volume drop when you switch to it. I ended up replacing the tone pot on my last one, and will do the same on this one. The stock tone pot does very little.
Finish:
Absolutely beautiful. I know a guitar is about how it sounds and all, but it doesn't hurt when it is as beautiful as this and sounds so sweet too.
Action:
Both required a little tweaking to be perfect, which is true of all guitars shipped straight from the factory. Change the strings out to your favorites right away, then set the intonation and action for those strings. Had to do it with the C-1 Classic, which was expected.

The best buy of ANY electric on the Market!!
Quality:
I am amazed at the quality of all the components and the switches and knobs are placed far enough back that you never have to worry about accidents when playing hard. As i said earlier action was perfect and intonation Dead On
Sound:
Seymore Duncan JB in the Bridge a Jazz in the Neck, Neck thru Body with Sustain for days, Neck is NOT thin and not thick, just thick enough to be incredibly comfortable. The mega switch gives this guitar incredible versatility. If you can only hear it you would but it on the spot it sounds fantastic!
Reliability:
Schecter makes some of the best guitars available. The hardware isn't at all flimsy (as some have suggested) it is my go to guitar in every situatation and my Start, Tele and Les Paul are all gathering dust.
Overall:
The pictures don't do this guitar justice. I have the blue and was expecting a pearloid inlay but it is TOTALLY Abalone. The binding is gorgeous as is the Quilt Maple top. The neck thru is visible thru the back and the guitar plays like a dream. And comes with LOCKING TUNERS!! (i was expecting grovers and that was a VERY pleasent surprise!!! Should of cost well over a thousand and still would be a steal at that!
Playability and Feel:
If any guitar is more playanble than this I've never seen it. I've owned Parker Flys, PRS's, Les paul (curently as wellas an Strat and a Tele and none of them play as easy as this. It's a working guitarists drean come true!!
Tone:
This will hive you every tone you can imagine and still surprise you, a working guitarist dream. The Seymore Duncans and the Neck through with a string through body give it endless sustain. If your a proffesional you'll probably want to use a volume pedal as positions 2 and 4 drop volume considerably, the only weak point of an otherwise PERFECT guitar (IMO)
Finish:
Gorgeous! Never seen a nicer looking guitar and I will own this 'till death. It is a true looker, the Abalone Vine of Life is amazing!
Action:
Perfect right out of the box, intonation was spot on! tune up a half step and your ready to go. Locking tuners make string change a breeze! It took a week in the shop for my 2600 dollar Les Paul to be made playable. This guitar is actually much better and that les paul goes on Craigs List tomorow!

Great guitar at a great price
Quality:
The quality is amazing. I can't believe this is a $500 guitar. It looks better than some twice the price.
Sound:
Great tone for cleans or a little crunch. It falls down with a tone of distortion, maybe the only negative with this pick-up set. With the 5-way pup switch, you get a ton of tones. From neck humbucker, neck single coil, neck and bridge single coil, bridge single coil, to bridge humbucker.
Reliability:
Just got it, but it survived UPS, so I'm not too worried about it.
Overall:
This is another great guitar from Schecter. I can't believe it only cost me $499! The inlay on the neck alone should make it cost more than that. The pictures don't do this justice. Plan and simple, this guitar is beautiful.
Playability and Feel:
Well balanced guitar. I love the wide flat neck. It's very smooth and very fast.
Tone:
Pups are bright and clear with no hum.
Finish:
Amazing. I got mine in see-thru blue.
Action:
Perfect. All I had to do was tune it and it was ready to go.
