this guitar was made by schecter...i mean come on you know it was built well...
Sound:
the tone is great and im not even an emg fan. it has a great deep tone but you also get great highs too. my only suggestion would be get some seymour duncan invaders for it...thats what i did.
Reliability:
iv had this guitar for a while and nothing has gone wrong at all and it gets the s*** beat out of it at shows so id say it pretty good.
Overall:
ok so i play metal mainly but a little of everything. but mainly like death metal. and this guitar is so perfect for it. trust me you will love it.
Playability and Feel:
light guitar. plays fast. i play lots of crazy scales and string skipping sweeps and i do it fast and this guitar is awesome for speed.
Tone:
pretty much whatever you want. you can get a lot out of this beast. but i like it low.
Finish:
the paint is f****** sick. enough said.
Action:
i read some reviews on this before i bought and saw people complaining the action was high and that it was heavy. no and no. the action is awesome, nice and low great for like some hammeron arpeggios and s***. and also its light. i like it.

this is an Amazing, well crafted guitar
Quality:
only time will tell, i guess!
Sound:
don't even get me started...it sounds beautiful, clean tone, distortion, tose EMG pickups deliver some great output with either sound. it's very versatile. i've only had it a day and i just cant get enough of it. i had to force myself to stop playing it so i could go to bed and get up on time for work.
Reliability:
like i said i have had it only a day,but since it's a schecter i know it will last a really long time, i've had my C-1 elite for 6 years and have never had any problem with it.
Overall:
This is my 2nd Schecter Guitar and i Love it, i got it as a dent & scratch item, and i cant find either a dent nor a scratch anywhere, it's awesome! it was ready to play right out of the box. AMS and Schecter knock this one out of the park! this is the only site i buy from and have never had to make a complaint, i recieved it when i was told i would, it was packaged really well and AMS is the greatest.
Playability and Feel:
WOW! the neck is brilliant, the detail of the neck and fingerboard is just outstanding. it feels just right and i can go from a slow pace to a fast pace in a snap!
Tone:
the pickups deliver some punch!!!
Finish:
it is unbelievable! i got the green finish and it looks way better than what i expected, great job schecter
Action:
it was great! no complaints

Well Worth It
Quality:
Fine quality instrument. I have owned many guitars in the past 20 years (Gibsons, Jacksons, ESPs etc.), and this is as nice as any of them. Extremely sturdy construction.
Sound:
Cool open, rich tone with the clarity you'd expect from a maple capped, mahogany bodied beast.
Reliability:
Only a couple weeks old, but so far - so good.
Overall:
This was bought to be a second guitar, but after playing and hearing it - it's become my main player. This is a mean looking guitar! I researched many guitars at this price range (much to the dismay of my patient wife). This guitar is definately a great buy. Now if I can talk her into letting me get the C-1 Classic I'll be set for life!
Playability and Feel:
She plays expectedly well. I've heard nothing but good things about Schecters especially in this category, and this one doesn't disappoint.
Tone:
Excellent tone. Only my second guitar with active electronics. I'm used to Seymour Duncan passives (Duncan Distortion, JB, '59). Nice smooth overdrive running straight through my JCM2000. Amazing coupled with a Metal Zone pedal. Tried and true wood combination. Full and clear.
Finish:
Beautiful maple top. Darker than I expected. You can only see the red in bright light. Otherwise it looks black. Hopefully the figured top is more visable on stage. Will see next time I gig out. Had a couple minor finish flaws out of the box. Nothing too out of the ordinary - I was being extremely critical when finding them. Obviously nothing that would sway my opinion.
Action:
Action was a tad high out of the box, and the neck had a little too much back bow for my liking. A quarter turn on the truss rod and lowering the bridge brought it in. Intonation is right on the money.

My 6th Schecter
Quality:
I'll be honest I was a little disappointed. Small things, nothing major. The 'A' string eyelet fell out in the back of the guitar when I changed strings the first time and all 3 knobs wobble when you turn them. Any other guitar you might not even notice but I have never come across this on any other schecter I owned. But typical Schecter everything else was perfect and tight.
Sound:
The sound is what you would expect from an EMG equipped guitar. What is really impressive is how much sustian is available from this guitar acoustically. As nice as my Fender Road Worn strat.
Reliability:
As stated previously I own more than one Schecter and none have ever worn out or broke down. Been buying them since the '90s. I see no reason why this one should be any different.
Overall:
This is my 6th Schecter and Schecter continues to amaze me. This one did not meet the quality of my Avenger Hellraiser or S1 Bada Bling (bought here from AMS) but the quality is still well above average, price not withstanding. Plus Schecter are great people to deal with, if need be...
Playability and Feel:
Fantastic. Of all my Schecters, this one plays with the least effort. I will say that the neck has somewhat of a 'C' shape to it and is not as slim as the C1 series. I prefer that though. I found it to be lighter than it looked, about the weight of a Strat. Really plays well though. The best.
Tone:
The tone acoustically is snappier than I would have thought, sustains like crazy and the whole guitar is quite alive when you play it. Plugged in, depending on your settings of course, but it can be bright and quick or dark and smooth with just the use of the tone know. Makes it quite versital as opposed to a dark guitar right off the bat..
Finish:
Finish has some buffing compound and 'burn' marks but all in odd angle places around the horns of the headstock and such. No worries. No complaints really. I got the green and the burl is noticable and really deep looking. Ebony board is dark and like glass, I love it.
Action:
Superb. Fretwork allows it to be wherever you want it to be..

Beginner

Quality:
The quality is right up there with other major competitors!
Sound:
The sound is amazing, active emg pickups 81/85 If you play metal you will enjoy this guitar!!
Reliability:
Only have had it about a month but seems reliable, the tuners are good quality, as the tone and volume knobs also seem good quality.
Overall:
This is a great guitar i love it, I believe it is overpriced though. Not a problem i got it for 649.00 ams matched a competitors price.
Playability and Feel:
The guitar is on the heavy side but i perfer a heavy guitar, The neck is fast a little sticky but no problem busting out some Lamb of god or slayer on this guitar, control placment is perfect.
Tone:
Again active emg 81/85 you either love the tone or hate it, I personaly love the tone.
Finish:
Amazing although i had to send back 2 others that came with scratches and dents but the third one is beautiful!
Action:
Not too bad out of the box, a string change, and a few other tweaks and shes a dream to play.
