I like everything about this. It has everything I need stock.
Sound
How is its Tone?
I have only been able to use it playing modern and alternative metal and it works quite well for that.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It feels way better than a high quality Precision type bass I was using previously. The neck is slightly thinner than the Precision. The access to the upper frets is way, way better. All of the controls are easy to get to and seem quite natural.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The guitar looks way better in person than in the pictures. No obvious flaws. I will say that the battery case screws were crossthreaded from the factory but they agreed to fix it no problem.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action was set up almost perfectly for me.
