Product Rating Product Review Purchased this bass for my son. He loves it. Prefers it over his Dean and Ibanez. RockvStar payment plan definitely made it possible

Product Review This thing is absolutely amazing. Beautiful, solid, and with an available tonal range needed to play everything from metal to jazz to indie-pop (the 3 genres I mostly play in), the Riot 4 Session has completely blown away my expectations. The C neck is exceptional and those inlays stand out wonderfully for easy playing. The active EMGs that are in this bass aren't the ones that are voiced mostly for metal applications - they have a huge range and the active EQ allows an almost limitless option to your sound before it even hits an external source All in all, I completely agree with the reviews stating that this thing rivals basses at a price point 2-3x greater than this one. I have absolutely 0 complaints whatsoever..that's surprising because I almost always end up with buyer's remorse, but that is definitely not at all the case. Do yourself a favor - if you're on the edge about buying this bass, just do it (or pull the trigger on it's 5-string brother, which is equally impressive) - between the product itself & the awesome AMS 0% payment plan that is totally manageable, I promise you will not regret it!

Product Review I bought this bass to supplement my aging and worn Ibanez and to be a lighter alternative to my heavy Warmoth Jazz bass. It is light and has a very playable skinny C neck much like the Ibanez but the real greatness is the sound from the EMGs. I can dial this up to sound just like a Rickenbacker 4001 or any P/J bass out there. The sculpted body makes my left forearm no longer irritated with a less accommodating body style. Really love the fact that the EQ and Split (between pickups) are notched so that you can make your tweaks and know where you are exactly off of zero. I also appreciate the 20:1 turn ratio on the tuners, easy to dial it in with a digital head mounted tuner. I'm using the through body stringing just to see how much resonance and sustain I get over my usual saddle to nut, which is an option on this same bridge! With a full round wound set of strings you can really get a growly E and snapping pop on the G. Big bonus for me is the block markers, easier to see while singing.
