I'm loving my pearly gates in my Les Paul. This is a second set I've installed in my Paul's. I love the transparent tone of these pick ups with just a bit of growl. I play rock and blues and these pick ups do the job. I'm often complemented on my tone and I often refer to my pearly gates as the reason for my sound.I find I can't play my strats because I'm so used to the awesome sound of the pearly gates. Weather it's a rhythym or lead I'm rockin out with my Gates!

The package the pups showed up in was scratched as well as some marks on the pickups themselves… looks like an open-box situation that was sold at full price. I’ll be careful with what I purchase from AMS.

It was already a great guitar, but once I upgraded with a set of Pearly Gates, this guitar became next level. Epiphone guitars upgraded with top of the line pickups are better than Gibson is.

I put a set of these in my Gibson L6S reissue - what a difference! They respond very well! They live up to their reputation. Definitely woke up the guitar!!
I've got a set of Doyle's Coyles in my Les Paul and the Pearly Gates are just as good!!

I love these pickups! I put them in my PRS SC 250 which previous owner had Gibson pickups installed. The Pearly Gates are smooth yet, with sizzle & bite! I bought the set with nickel covers which, looks great on my guitar. If you are a tone but like me, you won't be disappointed in the Duncan Pearly Gates! For your reference I play rock, blues, R&B styles of music. AMS had them to my door in 2 days! You can't go wrong ordering anything from AMS, they are great to deal with and back the products they ship %100.

Recently purchased these to replace the pro buckers in my epiphone les paul standard pro. Although the stock pickups sounded pretty good for the money, these Pearly Gates have transformed it into a gritty Texas blues machine. You will not be disappointed.

My new seymour duncan pearly gates arrived. Got my solder gear ready to go. Opened the back of my 2020 Epiphone standard pro. uuuuh. well maybe ill use my new solder gun on a microphone short i have. The pickups are beautiful zebras and cannot wait till they are professionally installed. Delivery was very swift less than 48 hrs. Man there are going to look great in my sunburst. Rock n Roll

Was going back and forth -- get the Seymour Duncan Slash or these Pearly Gates pickups. I suppose you can't go wrong either way, but I LOVE the tone I get from the these Pearly Gates picks. From clean to dirty, I cannot get over the crisp, old Les Paul bluesy tone I get from these suckers. Fantastic! Highly recommend if you have a bluesy, classic rock sensibility to your play. 10 out of 10.

My Les Paul sounded great stock, but I caught a case of GAS and I decided to do something I’ve never done before, switch out pickups. Whoa, man! These opened tone I didn’t realize I was missing. This guitar cuts through the band mix like never before.

I hated the tone of my PRS Zach Myers SE. After several videos i decided on a Seymour Duncan Pearly gates set. All i can say is they sound amazing. This may be my 1st purchase from American Musical Supply but it will NOT be my last. My pups got here a day earlier than expected and you couldn't beat this grin off my face with a hammer..lol

Bought these for my epiphone les paul standard and definitely sounds great now. Awesome high and mid range without sacrificing low end and definitely not muddy like the ones it had stock. Great clean and distortion sounds.

I put these in a Fender original jaguar and it is now my favorite guitar to play. The versatility in sounds is unmatched. The pearly gates deliver a clean vintage sound that is hard to find nowadays.

There's not enough room on this page to completely describe how great the combination of SD pearly gates you sent me along with the antique Gibson 59 pots and orange caps sound. I started with an abused and discarded epiphone les paul, but I could just feel the strength in this neglected body and neck. A true survivor refusing to give up even from abandonment. I couldn't wait to get the parts in for her, and now that she's together,,,,wow! What mojo, I just wish I could play better because she screams to be heard .
