Really versatile pickup combination that gives me very thick warm tones from the neck for clean stuff. The bridge is just an all around good lead pickup for rock, blues, whatever. It has good clarity from the bass, mids, and treble, but still warm. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? They feel like magnets wound with wires, then placed in a metal case. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Dark and smooth, like Will Smith. The Jazz is thick and mellow, the JB is thick and kinda hot but not high output, like Scarlett Johannson. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The nickel covers give a classic vinytage look. Action How was the action out of the box? Pickups don't really have action, except for flying springs when you're mounting them.
