I've had it in my guitar for over a year and it's help up. Overall Your general opinion of this product. It has a good sound in alder. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Some players say the bass feels loose to them, but I disagree. There are settings on your amp that might lead one to believe this claim, but I believe the bass just isn't full-on tight. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I't's not overly bright or too warm, but it's a bit in-between. It's hot, but I still feel like it could use more output. That's just the metalhead in me though. It also has some distortion, but not too much. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Glossy black. Action How was the action out of the box? Perfect.
