Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Like the legendary sm series these are rugged, new and old these are never change in sound level or quality. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Rugged, I bought one used online and it had some kind of insect cocoon growing inside, I cleaned it up and I can't tell it from my new ones in sound quality. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Plug n play, little or no eq needed, use on vocals and acoustic instruments. Sound How is the tone? I always used condensers on stage for live acoustic music, then we started playing noisier and bigger venues, so I started looking at dynamic mics and found that these would work for vocals and instruments. Our guitar player had two sitting around so I started buying more, we now have 9 that we use on stage, 5 vocals and banjo, guitar, mandolin and dobro. The bass player is plugged in. I would not trade these for anything, they have neo magnets which gives them a condenser response and sound. We can actually now turn up the monitors without worrying about feedback. I wish I had started using these years ago. People who have heard our band, came up after the first gig with these and said, you guys never sounded better, what's different? Perfect reproduction of instruments and cutting vocals.
