GuitarMonsterz from Thorndale, PA
Quality:
Sturdy, well built with metal case and grille. It is very dependable as I use it as my main vocal microphone. It holds the cable very tight which is good in order to maintain a continuous signal.
I've used other branded microphones costing more and had problems keeping the cable very tight making the connection unstable which led to low signal and/or intermittent interruptions. I had to fix the problem with duct tape to prevent the cable connection stable.
Ease of Use:
Can't be made easier to use. Just plug and play.
Sound:
The Shure SM48 reproduces my voice with no coloration. Very clear and accurate. Good sensitivity, I don't have to get too close to it in order to make myself heard. That's a big plus as I play my guitar and sing at the same time.
Value:
The Shure SM48 is a great value in itself. It came with a boom stand and cable but it is well worth the money if it didn't. The Shure SM48 is an awesome mic.
