Shure quality,nothing more be said on this one.A sloid build top to bottom.Built to last and take a beating and still work just fine. The pickup pattern is tailored for use with vocals and this unis is even better than my Shure SM58.It just has that nice peak presence at about 2-4kHz which helps it shine thru the mix without the proximity effect you get with most mics as this mic rolss off at about 100hz. How playable do you consider this product to be? Plug and play right out of the box,altough the owners manuel is very informative if not to the point.Short and sweet,just how I like it. Sound How is its Tone? Not only does this mic just perfect for vocals it works well with other sound sources as well.I use this mic on my acoustic guitar and piano and even my Mandolin and it just has that sweet spot to it.

I've had to replace 2 grills since they were looking a little rough, but they all still work perfectly. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? Great sound for live situations. I wouldn't recommend recording clean vocals or instruments with these, but I have recorded heavily effected vocals with these on a few occasions when I was in a pinch.
