I bought this product on chance the reviews would be spot on, and they were I can hear individual parts through these headphones, and it is so helpful. I play guitar so when the SRH840's are plugged into my Helix 5 headphone jack it is pure excitement for me....So clear, and crisp. I absolutely endorse this product. Hours of fun ahead with out bothering the neighbors around my house.

These headphone are bulky yet solid and fit very comfortable on the ears. The sound is crisp and clear and I love the fact that they include extra replacement cushions something no other headphones I’ve bought ever came with. The moment I hear the sound through these headphones at guitar center, I immediately called AMS to order. Sorry guitar center but I’ve been ordering from AMS going on 12 years now

I have had a pair for a while now, and I really love them, especially for recording vocals and how it makes the vocals sit in the mix for the artist and myself. So I decided to buy a second pair. REALLY GREAT HEADPHONES!!!

The build quality is amazing. Feels very durable.
Sound is nothing impressive or disappointing out of box. The high is a little thin and low is a little weak. But after 2 weeks the sound is getting better and better. I can feel its sound "expanding" and clarity increasing. Very exciting to experience the fully burnt-in unit.
The earpads are comfortable, but not as soft as I expected from online reviews. This headphone is a heavy on head and will rock back and forth if you move your head to quickly. The top of my head gets hurt a little after few hours use. But the sound quality and isolation is just worth it. I brought it to work and home everyday. Aww it's heavy in bag.
Sound isolation is phenomenal. Since I am wearing glasses there will be gaps in between my head and the headphone. In this case the isolation is even better than my Bose QC15. And you don't disrupt others. Full music experience at work.
Any thing to complain: the weight/fit, no hard carry case.
Will recommend.
