Awesome Wireless
Quality:
Good quality...might have followed suit with the cheaper SLX metal box but I have not had any problems with it mounted in my rack. Players who have it sittin on top of their rigs might want to be careful as I could see the case getting damaged eventually. I have owned this unit for almost two years and have over 150 gigs on it without any problems what so ever.
Features:
All in all, this unit is very nice. The only draw back is it doesnt come with a rack mount kit, thats an extra 100 bucks for the kit and the required antenna(seperate purchase). This unit also eats 9v Batteries for lunch. 1 Battery per gig and when it drops it drops. I spent $50 bucks on a nice charger and a couple of really good 9v rechargables. I can get about 3 gigs per charge and they have already paid for themselves. Beats spending $3.50 a gig for a battery.
Ease of Use:
Sets up nicely, I have not had any problems, easy to follow directions if you need them. Channel search and match are simple. Worth the money!
Sound:
This unit does not affect the sound or tone of my Fender Bass rig at all. Crystal clear and great range. No tonal distortions, no noise, no worries. Its Shure, come on.
