Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Well made, generally well put together. A couple of design improvements could be made, but that is secondary at this point.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Quite well. It took 165 airline "segments" to break it. The baggage handlers finally snapped off a handle after loading and unloading it on 165 sepearate aircraft over a period of about 16 months. The usual life expectancy of a $100 case is about a dozen flights and often involves a guitar repair
General
Your general opinion of this product.
Solid, quality case stands up to air travel and does exactly what it is supposed to do. A bit heavy, but that is the price of protection from baggage handlers. Be prepared for many questions at the airport as it looks like a weapons case, similar to those used by US Armed forces.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Not applicable to this product
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Not applicable to this product
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
It's a flat black case - which is all I wanted.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
First rate.....potential for a product improvement here though as the generic interior doesn't quite fit everything ideally without some tweaking.
