How dependable? excellent quality, this case is bomber and everything is finished with great attention to detail! i'm so glad i spent the extra money and got something that i can completely trust and believe in. and, it sure beats carrying a traditional road case in ease of carrying and weight! Reliability How has it stood up over time? will have to get back to you on this one. so far, toting a guitar to the shop and then to a gig, i don't see any issues. Overall Your general opinion of this product. i bought this case because i'm going to be flying with my guitar soon and wanted something i could check as baggage and not worry about. i have yet to take to the skies, but doubt very much anything short of an explosion could harm this case - solid! it was specifically purchased for a Schecter C1, which fits a little loose in the body and neck compartments. but, by placing a large square of 1/2" foam under the guitar body and a small piece above the headstock, the empty space is taken up nicely and the guitar is snug as a bug in a rug. the bonus is that my Schecter C7 and PRS both fit in the case as well! the PRS is very snug in the body compartment, but the C7 still needs the underlying foam to stay completely settled. the latches are solid, the handle comfortable to carry and grip and the roller wheels are quiet and smooth. i am very pleased with the case so far!
