This is some very nice German engineering. Sonor makes a solid kit, and Quality is never a concern.
Sound
How is its Tone?
It sounds great. I love the sound of Birch, and Sonor has developer their engineering to the point where the difference between their low-end and high-end kits becomes smaller and smaller.
Value
Was this item an overall good value?
This kit is an incredible value. Birch isn't cheaper than Maple because its inferior, it's cheaper because it's plentiful. It's a matter of what your ears like to hear, and my ears prefer Birch. The fact that it's less expensive is a big bonus.
