Being an EHX product, I assumed it would play well with a Big Muff, and the color switch allows just that, blends it nicely into a distorted signal. Also 0 volume loss as I’ve read happens with other Phasers. Very spacey and clear and simple to use. And not to mention it looks so great. Awesome job EHX!

Very vocal pedal. Smaller and quieter than my early 80's version of this pedal. Great for those 70's sounds and also adds dimension to today's rock sounds. Very nice

Great phase sound with two options. You have a full
Sound and a more modulated sound. I bought to go with the big muff reissue to get that great thick 70’s solo sound. Couldn’t be happier with the results.

For a single knob pedal at a budget price this was a great purchase. The rate knob basically sets the speed rate, while the color switch sets the aggression. I keep the rate at 10:00 to 11:00 and the color switch OFF. I realize it's a small footprint, however, a clean/effect blend knob would be welcome. No need for a tone knob, since I am very pleased with the tonal expression that appears in the sweeps. I play weekly in a 60's / 70's country band and step on it about 12 times per night for rhythm and lead. Good with single coils and buckers and use in conjunction with a Xotic SP compressor and a Xotic AC Booster. I have played about 25 gigs with the Small Stone and have no plans to replace it.

I have wanted to acquire a few more effects pedals, and this one is great. I plugged it in and right away I was amazed with sound this little pedal puts out. I would strongly suggest buy this if you want to have an awesome pedal in your rig!!

I had a few Electro-Harmonix pedals back in the '70's.
These are heavy duty effects along with an Dunlop
(original) Cry-Baby Wah. But as time went on, I gave them
away. Electro-Harmonix stands the test of time and, will
give many years of great service if you don't abuse them.
They aren't meant to be stamped on by a foot or, you'll
ruin the pedal. I just got mine today, and am glad I
have it. I'm a lover of true effects and this is well
worth the price! If, you want to sound good, with a Great
Phase this is it. Plus it's an original but, with better
circuits. Hey, give it a try.

EHX always makes top quality products and I have several of their pedals. The Nano Small Stone is built like a tank!
So far I have it for a month now and it is one of my main pedals on my board that I use the most. I know how well I can rely on it.
Your general opinion of this product.
I knew that a phaser was the next pedal to go on my board and I wasn't sure if the small stone or mxr was the way to go. After watching/reading reviews I chose the small stone because of the true bypass circuitry and how versitile it is.
It sounds 10x better than the phase 90 and I have owned several including the EVH phase 90. It is clean and the color switch adds a great level of depth.

Metal case, nice switch, seems durable. Bought a scratch and dent model and can't find a scratch on it.
So far, so good.
Your general opinion of this product.
Have tried several different phase shifters (Boss, MXR etc...) and found Electro Harminx to have the best phase shifting sound. Easilt gets that Pink Floyd sound. Wish it had a level control as it can sometimes be a little overbearing in the switch up mode.
