It is hefty and well built, but easily portable. Have had no problems thus far and expect none.

I have had the amp for a only a couple of weeks. So far all is good. This amp is well built and this coupled with SWR's reputation,I am expecting no problems.

Incredible acoustic tone. Makes my Taylor T5-12 string "fill the room". Love the low z input for the Taylor expression system!!!

Tough blonde vinyl cover, chrome metal corner protectors, and a vibration free metal speaker grill. Outstanding!

These amps are built like tanks.

My original Blonde was with me ten years and other than the radio station bleed I had no issues or repairs to that amp.

Your general opinion of this product.
I had owned an original California Blonde but had issues with radio interference in a club where I play due to old electrical wiring. I traded my old Blonde for a Genz Benz, but after two months I missed the huge sound of the California Blonde amp and I took a chance that the new model might have circuitry to reject the radio station bleed. I am glad to be back with this amp again. The new features are great and I am getting complements on the sound.
Playability and Feel

I like the separate control buttons for phase and reverb for each channel.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The tone was what sold me on my first Blonde and it brought me back to this newer version.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
My only complaint was a dent in the front face board. It could have happened in shipping.
Action

I like the new three direct outputs on the back. Phantom power for microphone is a major plus.
