Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? As goog as my top of the line custom Taylors or Martins Reliability How has it stood up over time? Gets better everyday! Overall Your general opinion of this product. I now know why Takamine has so many dedicated fans world wide Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Playability is far superior to any guitar in it's price range, at least as good as the Taylor 314 which is at least twice the price. The neck is good for those of us with short fingers ( I know what you were thinking) however fat fingers will be a challenge toward the nut, but it's still very good Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Smooth and full, try different pick thickness for strumming and solo's also play up and down from last few frets to the bridge to experience the full range of this instrument. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Perfect Action How was the action out of the box? A little lower than I thought would work but it's proved to be perfect, as a guitar craftsman I mess with every guitar I buy, not this baby, I do recommend you give it a day or two to acclimate to your environment especially in real humid areas like Florida. After that tune it up, mine was almost perfect out of the box and let it fly this baby loves hot licks and any strum you throw at it.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Everything about this guitar seems well-made. Well put together, and smoothed out. I couldn't imagine any problems with it. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had it about 2 weeks. Overall Your general opinion of this product. For the money, this guitar is tough to beat. Even the case is nicer than most, providing superb protection with elegance. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? While not being too thick, the neck feels very substantial. The frets are nicely finished on the ends. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone is pretty well balanced. It has a nice, full bottom while letting the highs ring out quite clearly. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is great, and the satin part of it keeps me from having that "too fine to touch" feeling. Action How was the action out of the box? The action was rather high, even though the inspection tag said it was set up for optimum playability. I put up with it for a few days to make sure I liked everything else. A simple (but careful) reduction of the bridge bone height had it fretting more to my liking in a couple of hours.
