Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It's made really solid. The back is beautiful. Nicely crafted instrument.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Time will tell. I've only had it about a week, but so far so good. I've already played 3 shows with it and it sounds and plays great right out of the box new.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I love it. I played a friends tan16 and fell in love with Takamine guitars. Not having the money for the tan16, the eg363sc is the way to go. I'll eventually upgrade the saddle and nut to bone, but it's a great sounding guitar out of the box.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The neck is really fast, but with a little meat to it. It feels wonderful. I can't wait to lower the action past 10 and this guitar is going to be a true monster. It makes you want to take a couple extra bars while soloing for sure. The controls are relatively easy to adjust while playing. Use a screeching halt sound hole plug and crank the gain for unreal tone!
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The guitar has a bright yet smooth tone through the pa. A little thin, but if you can easily adjust the pa to help thickin it up.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The guitar is gorgeous. Pictures on the internet did it no justice. I've had alot of compliments already and I've only had it a week. The guitar is perfect. Not a flaw on the body.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action is perfect up to 9/10th frett. When I upgrade to bone I'll lower the action for soloing a little easier. The action past 10 isn't terrible by no means, it just could stand to be lowered a little.

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
As i said, be ware, takamine dousnt seem to pay too much attention to playability but the guitar looked pretty

Your general opinion of this product.
Great finish and good full sounding dreadnought, however be aware of takamines quality assurance, I had to have the frets leveled by a local shop just so it was playable right out of the box. When freting a chord all the strings would buzz from rubbing high frets.

Slim neck, solid feel, not light

Preamp lacks bottom end, not much bass even with eq maxed out
Finish

Very nice, no flaws

too low, needed two bridge spacers just to keep from rubbing frets, was not playable
