How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? a bit chunky but you get use to it. the neck a bit wide. controls are perfect as always with a takamine Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? plugged in, sound is smooth and mellow great pickup and controls Finish How did the stain or paint job look? the maple finish is really expensive looking Action How was the action out of the box? action is good, played right away, needed no adjusting.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Top notch on construction. Frets all seated well and neck is perfect fit with body. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Can't say. All hardware appears to be of good quality. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Great guitar for the money. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Body feels light with a heavy dense neck. The neck about right for a 12 string. Preamp on average for this price range. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Stock strings are pretty nice in tone. Plenty of bottom end with tone with some real nice chorus highs. I haven't found the right setup witht the EQ yet. Could be that i'm playing through a crappy amp. On board tuner is a nice touch. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Perfect. A mile deep shine. Black is back. Action How was the action out of the box? Average. Not bad but could use some adjustment. A little high.
