I absolutely love this guitar. From the rich and deep tones it has to the extremely comfortable playability. I've always been a fan of these guitars. Electronics are superb. This guitar has become my best friend in songwriting. It's where all my songs begin is with this guitar. It's absolutely great for recording or just unplugged live. I would highly recommend owning one

This is my second Takamini guitar and I love them both. Great action, stays in tune and the electronics are spot on. I got the black version and it’s awesome! The only thing I didn’t like…no gig bag or case.

25 year experience here, I went over the guitar with a fine-tooth-comb and found no issues whatsoever. I recently returned a guitar with fret buzz and the return process was also very easy(cheaper guitar by different brand). I chose the GD30CE and I'm so happy I did. You can't beat the sound and playability at this price range.($600). AMS has the best order/return process, very helpful costumer service and awesome payment plans!

I bought this guitar to add a variety to my Takamine guitars for gigging on a regular basis. It plays and sounds different than my main Tak but that’s what I was hoping for. The tone is a bit more shallow than my others so I use this on a set of songs that require that sound. The pickup system is very hot and I love it! The built in tuner is an added plus with it cancelling the pickup when activated.
Not my main guitar but a great addition for gig nights. If you’re a Takamine player you will love this guitar

Had indentations on the neck not sure how that happen 3 or 4 a spot in the wood on the back 2 small cracks on the front near the bridge doesn't seem to affect play ability but when you get b stock that's what you get an I'm going to be playing a lot so I'm sure there will be more marks before I'm done just hope the cracks on the front near the bridge doesn't get worst

I have owned this guitar for about a week now and it still amazes me. Versatile, smooth, and easy to play. I've rarely used a guitar that felt so good in my hands. Heard alot of good things about good things about takamine and they are all true. Fit and finish is spot on. For a lower end model they still spent time on the details and most of all the playability of this rig.

I waited too long because of personal events and they wouldn't let me take it back. 3 stars because it's easy to play. 3 stars because it had a problem with the first 4 fret range and I tried adjusting the truss nut (silver) as instructed on Taka website to some and then no avail. UNfortunately, I am selling it on craigslist for 220.00 with a nice case. I'd rather have the money (and loss) and start over again maybe a Yamaha.

Nice sound & exceptional playability. I love the bridge and dual saddle's. Sounds really good plugged in with just a tad of chorus on it. Sounds excellent unplugged as well.

This is an amazing guitar for the money. I've owned Martin D18's that didn't sound this good! I used to play Bluegrass at one time and at any given point owned 4 or 5 Martins. This guitar could sell for $1000 and it would still be a good deal. This guitar is loud and has great tone with a good punch, but can be mellow as well. I'm blown away with the workmanship, quality and sound. I defy you to find a better guitar for the money.

If you are looking for a great guitar under $500 than this is at the top of the list...The action was perfect right out of the box and it plays like a dream... It has what some would call a "plain" look but thats just my style... Nothing flashy but beautiful... Stays in tune great... While all the little details went above and beyond what I expected, the real shocker is the sound... Both unplugged and plugged, this guitar will compete with the Martins and the Taylors that will cost you double the money... Great guitar for a great price... Love it.

Incomparable sound quality for a very reasonable price than those new line of acoustic guitars. compare this specific type of takamine model to a $1000+ price range acoustic and you'll be blown away with the sound quality of the GD30/GD30CE. It also has a very smooth and comfortable action. High quality electronics with outstanding sound.
