How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Once the fret ends were filed smooth the playability went up a couple of notches. Before that was done I had to be careful not to hurt my finger tips. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It rings out- lotsa volume too. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Plain, no frills, but it could stand just a wee bit more sanding. The back is almost rough.
