Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? You would think Takamine would mean well made. Overall, yes, but mine needed the frets trimmed/beveled.It was as if it left the factory before being inspected. General Your general opinion of this product. The resonance of this instrument is great. An open string chord rings forever. I love that. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It rings out- lotsa volume too. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Plain, no frills, but it could stand just a wee bit more sanding. The back is almost rough.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Great for a low end guitar. Light but sturdy, it takes a beating in my house and never a problem. I trust it will last. General Your general opinion of this product. One of the best choices for a kick around guitar that won't bother you if it gets banged up. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Mellow, not too bright which is a good thing. The cedar top should be the selling point. Not loud and can't handle aggressive picking but but does for this price. I wouldn't gig with it but for writing and practice it's a great guitar. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? plain satin top will mar easily but I don't care about that. Otherwise it looks very nice, plain but nicer than most in this range. The cedar top makes it.
