General What is your overall opinion of this product? Good Takamine junior version for the Savvy musician! Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? Got this Jasmine on sale 10 yrs ago. Still playable, electronic from Korea is very durable! Good job, korean guitar! Upper register rather offtune a bit after those long years! Good memory when I looked at this old beloved friend. Love your sound forever! Feel Was it easy to reach the strings? How comfortable was the playing position? Feel very light on touch. Strings is cheap. Anyway You can change with A'darrio JPS- the better strings on sale now. Try this set and you'll see how beautiful the acoustic sounds are. Tone Is the tone well balanced? How does it project? Tone is thin. but that what I want for recording. No buzz but No warm or mellow tones expected- from the high end guitars- G-series or Yamaha A- series: Those are the best hard working ones. But they cost you 7, 8 times more! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Mine is scratches a lot now. but the Korean Paint job 10 yrs ago was excellent! Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? Worth every penny. The Hard case by Takamine is great. Fit the Takamine precisely. but you must know well the Model to order the right case. Many people don't know what they want. Order wrong size and complain Takamine. It's UNFAIR! Playability How was the action out of the box? High, You need to adjust the truss rod to your liking. I adjusted both rod and saddle by sanding the bone- Use micrometer to measure. Make sure you don't sand it too much! You screw the action OK.! Please feel FREE to email me if needed.
