Been a Tama player for years but this snare is amazing right out of the box, I changed the head the an Evens reverse E2 and has depth and crack. Think it would be a very versatile snare for anyone.

First off I love the glossy black finish. I capped it off with Tama's brushed nickel die cast hoops.
Sound is amazing. I am biased for high tunings on all my snares but this baby has a really lovely thud on a low to mid-low tuning that is incredible to my ears.
I had it for about 2 months now
It fully exceeded my expectations. Easily became my favorite snare for all types of music.

I am a worship drummer. I play a variety of music from pop which requires a tight pop sound to worship which in today age is really fat. The fact it includes 42 strand snare wires means you loosen up your wires and it gives you that worship sound.

First look I fell in love. This drum is absolutely gorgeous looking then after a quick tune I played it and am astonished at the attack and volume it shouts. This snare screams ,a beast in all aspects of the term.I couldn't be happier. If your looking for that loud drum that you can also play soft, ghost notes act..Buy this snare.The best in this class - This snare screams

This snare drum is incredible. I've been playing on it for a year now and I can't tell you how good this thing sounds. For the price - it sounds like a 6 to 800 dollar snare! I highly recommend this drum.
