Push on the release buttons to slide down on the top of the symbol stand. And when you're tearing down push the two red buttons in again and it comes off with ease remove the symbol and then they're right back on the stand. Amazingly fast and effective.

I absolutely love these quick set cymbal mates. In a pinch it takes too long to screw off a wing nut, whereas these cymbal mates actually come off with a pinch! One of the best features of these are the tightness settings, easily adjusted with a simple pinch. I'm glad to see Tama ships many of their stands and cymbal arms with these cymbal mates.

Gone are the days of screwing and unscrewing your stoppers like a plebeian, now with the pinch of your fingers you can enjoy unlimited power. Tama knocked it out of the park with these simple things. Love them, I am beyond lazy and I love it.

I switch cymbals from one drum set to another. It is quick and easy and can be tightened like a conventional screw. Press the sides together and tighten to your liking.
