Tama Rhythm Watch Review
Quality:
The Rhythm Watch seems to be made very well, i.e., durable plastic casing, the controls are well designed and attached adequately, etc. I haven't dropped it (yet:) but I would guess that it would withstand a moderate drop....not hoping to find out anytime soon though!!!!
Features:
I love the program features the best by far! I can program up to 30 preset tempos for shows to keep me honest onstage. I also like the variable controls for 8th, 16th, and 8th note triplets. The footswitch jack is also great for hands free operation.
Ease of Use:
The unit is very easy to use. I pulled it out of the box and had it functional in a short time. The manual is fairly short but simple to understand and the different features make it a terrific tool both onstage and I'm guessing in the studio as well, although that hasn't happened quite yet:)
Value:
Absolutely!!! For the price, I'm very pleased with the Rhythm Watch's features and performance. Can't wait to utilize it on my upcoming tour.

Quality:
This product is made fairly well. It is very light wieght and I havent used it long enough to see how it will stand up to the rigors of daily use.
Features:
Easy to read LED with backlight, the control knobs are also easy to use and access while playing if you need to start or stop it in the middle of a song. The big downfall to this product is that it does not come with a power supply. A 9v batt comes with the unit. At 5 or 6 bucks for a batt this is not a very economical option if you plan to use it a lot. I dont know how long the batt life would be though. I went to my local music store and got a Danelectro power supply that works perfect for it, cost me 10 bucks for the power supply so for the cost of 2 batts Im good to go on power.
Ease of Use:
This thing is very easy to use. A once over of the user manual and you will have no problem with the operation.
Value:
I would say the value is fairly good, I think the cost would be a great buy with the power adapter included.

Quality:
Yes. So far so good. It look to be something I'll have for the 15+ years
Features:
The Tap feature is very accurate. And I LOVE the programming feature. This is very helpful in live situations where I moving from one song to the next very quickly. The only thing that kept me from giving it is the fact that you can only go forward with the programs, not backwards.
Ease of Use:
This is quite simple to use. There is a clearly labeled button or knob for everything and only a few sub-menu-type options.
Value:
Yes. I would highly recommend with device to any drummer.
