Like a mixer this allows you to dial in or out the specific notes you want to hear, like if you need to hear the triplet pattern more distinctly. The controls are fairly straightforward and intuitive. The only downside is that the button values only go up; problem being if you overshoot the setting you're going for, you have to cycle through all the other settings again to get back to it. Lots of buttons and dials for the adjustment and isolation of exact tempo you're looking for. As feature-laden as this is, the only feature I wish it had was a wider variety of metronome sounds to chose from. Value Was this item an overall good value? In this era of metronome apps, it may seem hard to justify spending so much on a physical unit... but there's something like this holds you more accountable for practice.

It is very light wieght and I havent used it long enough to see how it will stand up to the rigors of daily use. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? Easy to read LED with backlight, the control knobs are also easy to use and access while playing if you need to start or stop it in the middle of a song. The big downfall to this product is that it does not come with a power supply. A 9v batt comes with the unit. At 5 or 6 bucks for a batt this is not a very economical option if you plan to use it a lot. I dont know how long the batt life would be though. I went to my local music store and got a Danelectro power supply that works perfect for it, cost me 10 bucks for the power supply so for the cost of 2 batts Im good to go on power. How playable do you consider this product to be? This thing is very easy to use. A once over of the user manual and you will have no problem with the operation. Value Was this item an overall good value? I would say the value is fairly good, I think the cost would be a great buy with the power adapter included.

The Tap feature is very accurate. And I LOVE the programming feature. This is very helpful in live situations where I moving from one song to the next very quickly. The only thing that kept me from giving it is the fact that you can only go forward with the programs, not backwards. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? This is quite simple to use. There is a clearly labeled button or knob for everything and only a few sub-menu-type options. Value Was this item an overall good value? Yes. I would highly recommend with device to any drummer.
