You get what you pay for...they aren't my dw's but I knew this. All the hardware is on the light/cheap side

How is the tone?
Wow was I shocked how good these drums sound!! I tuned them down for a cover band......country , rock , blues. Even the little 18" kick did well with a mic.

Omg yes! I would suggest this kit to everyone to pros and students!

Very good quality. Good attention to detail. Solid. Although inexpensive not cheap at all.

How is the tone?
The sound is fantastic! I bought these drums because I wanted a jazzy kit but also something that had some volume and punch for certain settings. That's exactly what I got! The tone is great - a warm, full, punchy sound. Great for jazz, jazz fusion, and many rock-type settings.

Are you kidding? $500 for these drums? The local music store couldn't touch that price. I practically stole them!

Made in China. Like most things, but seems very well made. Kit Looks Great! All birch shells w/ real hardware.........
