I would have paid 5 times what I did to get this product and have been happy to do so. but keep the price where it is Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? the mixdown and final mixdown features are amazing! Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? The product is easy to use once you know how to use it. it is very intuitive. the manual is not very well written. get the DVD Sound How is its Tone? the tone is amazing and hugely flexable Reliability How has it stood up over time? Tascam is the only name I will buy! Overall Your general opinion of this product. I love it - this is my 3rd Tascam deck and I cant believe how much you get for the money and how good the sound is and the features.

Time will tell how dependable it will be.If it's any thing like the products Tascam made in the past,there should be many years of use and enjoyment...We'll see. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? It' a really decent package that AMS has put together for the price.Compared the price if you were to buy each item individually and it's really a great deal... much cheaper as a package.The Tascam multitrack and KRK speakers really sold me. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Product is easy to set up...Takes a little time to get use to the different functions.I would puchase the Pro Audio DVD for the Tascam 2488/MKII/NEO tutorial.It will get you up and running quickly and hit the high points of the recorder then the manual will help with the details. Sound How is its Tone? The sound is really good Get EXCELLENT bass response and great highs.Crisp and sharp on everything. Reliability How has it stood up over time? A fairly new purchase. Used it for a month every day...so far it's been great!No problems. Overall Your general opinion of this product. The quality of each item , again, for the price ,can't be beat.
