This does require a bit of a sit down with the manual as there are some sub programs to navigate, but you can skirt the real deep stuff and just record and play. Sound How is the tone? The tone is suprisingly good for a unit of this size. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far, no issues. Does a real good job of picking up the low end and sounds nicely balanced. The Limiter works well, but I haven't used the 'Peak Reduction' feature yet. Some of the things in the display are really tiny, though. Even with my reading glasses, it can be hard to see. Sound How is the tone? Sound quality is great. Nice low end response and smooth top end. Typical Tascam. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had this unit for a few weeks now, but so far so good. The directions are simple and easy to read..just a few minutes of reading and you'll have a total feel for how easy it is to use Sound How is the tone?
