Somebody had messed around with the one I got and put it back in the box. It sounded awful until I finally put it back to the factory default setting. I almost sent it back. Not cool AMS!Keep your people from screwing around with the products before you ship them out!

it's a muscians training box, not aguitar.

its plastic , but its cool.

It took a little getting used too, but now its great.

Sound:
Tone is great - a bunch of worthless presets and a few good ones. You're not using it for a gig, just to learn parts or jam with so all the bell-and-whistle stuff is sort of useless.
Reliability:
Only had it a few weeks but looks like it will do just fine. I'm relying on the Tascam name and hope it lasts.
Overall:
No, not the device - time in hours! Since I got this I've practiced more and had a great time doing it. I've always used other means to practice licks/songs and always wanted one but didn't want to deal with CD's - THIS IS THE SOLUTION!
Playability and Feel:
Plays fine - I actually walk on a treadmill while playing it - time is money and I've got little of either. ;)
Tone:
Nice enough for what your using it for.
Finish:
Red paint - looks red. :)
Action:
Navigation of the menu's is a little weird, not that I would have a better solution with minimal buttons though.

Tone is great for what this is. Guitar input can get drowned out a bit by the selection.

It wanted to stay in the box so I coaxed it out with a little blues riff. Its happy now with plenty of action outside the box.
