Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
When i was looking to upgrade my recording interface from a firewire 400 decive to a USB 2.0 device, i had looked at all the different models available, and i have to say, that this US-2000 device is by far the best. Besides interfacing really well with my Logic Pro application on my iMac the interface itself has some great little features, its got the little dust flaps for the top XLR inputs which are great to have since i live out here in the desert of New Mexico where dust is a huge problem. The graphic display has REALLY helped to eliminate any clipping issues when im setting the input or monitoring the output to my monitors and headphones. I would highly recommend this device to anyone who wants to put in the few extra bucks compared to the slightly cheaper units, if you would like to hear the device in action check out jordanojames on the web. As I expected, this unit is amazing. I am impressed with how well the front LED's respond to my drum signals.

The best feature I find is its ease of use. I literally plugged it in, connected it to my laptop, downloaded the latest driver and started using it. It works seamlessly with Ableton Live, and is simple to set up!

It couldn't possibly be easier, in my opinion. The levels are easy to set, and setting it up inside Ableton Live is a breeze!

Getting 16 inputs & 4 outputs for $400 seems like a real bargain to me! I am absolutely loving having my own drum rig to do my own drum processing!
