I ordered the tobacco sunburst finish and it just looks awesome.
It has the typical Taylor sound and it sounds little brighter than I expected but I love it.
The neck is thin so it is easier to play.
Great guitar!

I played a few different brands at a local music store and fell in love with the Taylor sound and feel. I looked up online pricing to compare to what the music store had. Found the deluxe at a cheaper price than the standard 214ce. The payment plan really helped me out as well. I'd recommend this guitar to anyone who's passionate about acoustic guitar.

This guitar has a gorgeous sound and a great feel. I borrowed one for our singer to play a small gig after he discovered the bridge was pulling on his aging work-horse. I played it for a day before the show and had a hard time giving it up after that. We actually had to make a deal at the show. He played it for set 1, and I got it for set 2. We both had a hard time putting it down.
If you're looking for a rich, defined and articulate sound, you just found it. Pick one up and play it. For the money you'll be hard-pressed to find a better sounding instrument.

Your general opinion of this product.
I'm a professional, gigging musician, and I'm hard on my guitars. My go to guitar, a high end Martin, needs a well deserved tune up. I wasn't shopping for a new axe but when I played this one at a local store I realized I could afford more than one really nice guitar in my stable.
I just did my first gig with it yesterday and it was great. After the first few tunes I knew I'd made a good choice.
This guitar is very comfortable. The neck seems a tad narrower than my Martin, but my adjustment to it was minimal. I have the sunburst model and the satin finish was just fine.
Beautiful, rich tone, much better than I expected from an instrument with laminated back and sides. Plugged in, well that's one of the biggest reasons I bought it - the ES electronics are wonderful.
Great!
It is a beautiful instrument. No flaws.
Comfy and sturdy. With proper care I think it'll last a good long time.
