Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I didn't even have to touch My 614ce to tell the quality of craftmanship that had gone into making my Taylor! In the time I've owned it, it's never let me down. I use it mostly to record with in my studio. Fantastic! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Like a rock! Overall Your general opinion of this product. I've owned Ovations, Gibsons Fenders Hamers, Appaulse,Holidays,Yamahas,Schecters even a Taylor electric. I'll never own another acoustic! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? After two strokes and a heart transplant I needed something easy to play! I found it! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Full of body and so very manly. It's not a wimpy sounding guitar by any means. It can be tender or it can rock, whatever the need may be. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The stain is a tobacco sunburst look with the back having a quilted maple gold like finish. Absolutely beautiful! Action How was the action out of the box? I purchased my Taylor at Willcutt's Guitar in Lexington, Ky. He is known for never let e guitar leave his shop that isn't ready to play. His touch is worthy of Taylor.
