Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Sonically, it's very well made. It's been very dependable too. Physically, the knobs aren't very tough, so it's up to you to protect them. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? As with most effects units,it does much more than I need it to. The delays that I chose to use are thoroughly inspiring. I really get drawn into the quality & character of the delays. I hesitated to spend so much on just a delay unit, but you get what you pay for. I only use two delays out of a wider selection because they are the ones that inspire me & were what I was looking for when I bought it. I just change the BPM as needed within the chosen delays. I actually use this in my guitar rig in the effects loop. I also have a TC Electronics G Major between the pre and power amp, but the D TWO delay quality is much BIGGER and more OPEN, so I use the D TWO delays, not G Major delays. The knobs could be more solid. They are delicate and easy to knock off. A road case is recommended, but as far as sounds go, they are above anything I've ever run in my rig. I can add a big open delay to a lead guitar melody and it just lifts me away. It's emotionally powerful. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? If you read the manual, which is brief, operation is a breeze. Sound How is the tone? As I said above, the sounds are very open. They enhance your playing and sound, but do not get in the way of it. Alot of things that I've tried in guitar rigs sounded like I ran the guitar through them, but this sounds like a natural delay that's added by a surrounding environment beyond the wiring. Once I got it set up and got my effects loop set up to adjust the amount of effect that I want in the signal, it's really added to the enjoyment of playing. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've had for it a few years with nothing but sonic glory! I did break a knob off once, sent it to TC and had back quickly, repaired with new knob & excellent communication from TC. I'll be a dedicated TC client from now on. General Your general opinion of this product. General opinion? WOW! That sums it up. It has Tap Tempo, midi capability, rythmic delays and more, but the wide open, pro studio like sounds of the presets just pull me into the "zone". It's got sounds that have become a welcome element of my guitar sound. It's proved to be a worthy investment that's been used for live performance and for recording.
