I don't use the compressor or the OD, (Keeley & Fulltone have me covered there). TC's mod effects are absolutely great. TC does a great job with there digital effects and the Nova is no expception. It's not the most user friendly set up. I use it as a stomp box, just clicking in my effects. It feels pretty sturdy. The adjsutment knobs are rubber and I could see them wearing over time. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I would put the effects in the middle of boutique and pedals like Boss or more common gear. I still have my Deluxe Memory Man and OCD, but some of the stuff like Phaser, Tremelo and reverb I use the pedal. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Less than 1 month with it so I can't tell but it looks like a little tank so General Your general opinion of this product. I just got it and I've been toying with it, so far so good, I will give it a test this weekend on a live performance enviroment and see what comes out of it. But the 1st imnpression I got after powering up and play with a few of the patches was "Wow!" and like I said before this weekend it will take the place of my $1500 rack unit, not an easy task. There is no wah fx or expression pedal but still like that if you can't live without one of those all you gotta do is put your favorite wah in from of it, in my case a wah/volume pedal does the trick. The thing I like the most about it is that is really intuitive and simple to operate, just a quick read to the manual or even you tube if you like and the controls and editing is fairly simple, no need to be nasa engineer to figure it out, nowadays multi fxs make it as easy and also as difficult as possible to create the sound you are looking for, this is like breath of fresh air.
