Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? a perfect 10 in my opinion. I have read Bass Player Mag for years and this Sans Amp always gets rave reviews. Im a sceptic, but now that I have it, I see why this is used by some of the best musicians in the world Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I just got it yesterday, so me doing a rating on it should let you know its a piece of equipment that I will cherish. Get it, you will never regret it. Im a big critic, if I dont like something I send it back. This little beast is definitely a keeper. Sound How is its Tone? Simply incredible. No matter what your playing style, you will be able to get whatever you looking for with this little beast. You just have to tweak and play with it, which is fun in itself. Makes practice and playing much more enjoyable, and will motivate you to play more. A must have!!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? On a scale of 1-10 this baby is a perfect ten. I tweaked the knobs to get some diffent tones and it just requires some experimenting to get what you looking for. This is a must in your bass arsenal, if you serious bout your playing Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I took my old Peavey Cirrus bass with old used up stings on it, plugged into this Sans Amp, and my bass literally came to life. If you want one item to add to your arsenal, and you want a well made piece of equipment that kicks a$$. This is it. I love my Sans Amp. If you play good ...this will make you sound great. As musicians we need any edge advantage we can get, this little baby levels the plahing field. I cant say enuff good things about it. Keep playing, keep the faith, and never let anyone ruin your dream. Music is the universal language!! I love American Musical Supply. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? This little monster is built like a tank. It appears that if you take care of it, that it should last a lifetime. Its not plastic, its metal. So its built like a little tank Very well made I was impressed just looking at it without even trying it out!!! lol Action How was the action out of the box? I sm the type person that when I get something to put together I usually dont read the directions. Having said that, this Sans Amp is all that and a bag of chips. Its like the woman you been searching for all your life , when you get her, you know its right.
Worth the price!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This product is made very well. Solid metal(ish) materials. Feel some weight. Like it's a great piece of gear that will withstand lots of gigs and abuse. The knobs feel good and the switches feel good when you click them. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The best feature of this product is the sound that this thing kicks out. Ridiculous tones come out of this thing. I've have been playing a Warwick active p/u Corvette connected to an Ampeg SVT-3 Pro through a pair of Hartke cabs for a long time and people have always told me how sick my bass tone is. "Best I've ever heard". Since I've added this pedal to my setup, I have been told "Wow! That sounds absolutely sick as F**K! Your tone has always been great and I never thought it could get any better. This tone blows away your old tone!" And it all started with this tank. I've always had a Tool(ish) bass tone, but since adding this pedal and tweaking the knobs, and incorporating a bass chorus pedal, now it IS the Tool "Undertow" bass tone! I'm in love with this pedal. Sound How is its Tone? As I mentioned in the Features section, the tone out of this thing is second to none. Top notch. You will not find anything in the market in this price range that will give you the tone and the power boost and the ridiculous sound that this thing produces. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Finish How did the stain or paint job look? This thing has a sleek matte finish look that looks bad a**. It looks so awesome in my pedal board. Action How was the action out of the box? This thing right out of the box before tweaking it out sounded sick! After tweaking it out, I was absolutely blown away with the capabilities of this thing to make a great rig sound even better.
Tight overdrive with balls!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Well, I don't own it, but as far as I can tell, It's a lightweight tank. One of my favorite bassists plays through a DI, and he's known for destroying anything on stage. With that being said, I'm sure if the pedal can stand up to The Dillinger Escape Plan, I'm sure it's dependable Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? With all the output options and multiple power sources, programmable effects loop, dual inputs, and monster tone, what features aren't great??? Sound How is its Tone? Incredible. Most bass distortions are too loose sounding and muffle the sound of the bass, but this not only allows your natural bass tone to flourish, it also has a ridiculously tight distortion and ungodly sustain. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It's VERY versatile. Any bassist of any style could seriously benefit from this machine. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Imagine this pedal as a golden doorway to Bass Heaven, where any tone is possible and every amp in existence is at your whim and beckon... Yeah, it's kinda like that. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? By far one of the coolest looking pedals out there. It adds a definate "CHECK ME OUT" atmosphere to your rig. Action How was the action out of the box? I only took a brief look at it, but this pedal functions as smoothly as any other well constructed pedal.
