I replace the stock preamp tubes on my marshall dsl 100 with these tung sols. The tone is on point for me and the gain is waaay better now! Less noise as well. Shipping was fast and the price point was average. All in all I'm glad I bought them and woukd buy them again!

I replaced the stock pre-amp tube in my Orange Micro Dark with this Tung Sol 12AX7 tube. It has a fuller sound than the stock JJ tube, although it's not quite as loud. I actually do prefer this tube's warmer and fuller sound in the amp and would recommend it to anyone who has a Micro Dark, especially if you don't gig with it, as the lower gain from this tube, I find much better in a bedroom (lower volume) setting than the stock tube.

Ordered these tubes after a while of being very scarce,and was notified immediately by American Musical Supply and went through with my order. I have ordered from AMS many times over last 7 years. Marshall 100 dsl, marshall code 100, 4 marshall cabinets and 2 drum kits presinus mixer, powered speakers,5 Les Paul guitars from Gibson. Very very pleased.Thank you Ams..

I use these in my tube amps, but I also threw this pre amp tube in on my hybrid Valvestate head to replace the old original one, and man did it ever make a difference!

This tube sounds way better than the Japanese stock tube that came with my PreSonus BlueTube V2 2 Channel Mic Preamplifier. I use it strictly on my stereo main outs to feed my amplifiers. It takes the digital edge off of my mp3's and smooths out that brittle, clinical digital sharpness that digital music files tend to have. I can no longer listen to digital music unless it's going through my tube preamp. I heard it also works well on vocal microphones and instruments but I haven't tried that yet.

Blew a power tube in my Marshall DSL40c and decided to change them all. I put these Tung Sols in the pre amp section and Mullard el34’s in the power amp and WOW!!!! What a difference. These tubes are very musical with the right amount of gain. Very low noise so far. I’m now ordering another set to put in my Peavey Classic 50.

I replaced the stock GT reverb recovery and tremolo tubes on my Custom Vibrolux and was rewarded with a noticeable drop in background white noise and slightly fuller sound. On a whim, I replaced the JJ 5751 I had in the Phase Inverter slot and found the sound to be a little chimier and "looser" - with a little more harmonic content, even at lower volumes
