This 610 solo is very warm and smooth?, it has a lot of great characteristics, I currently have it paired with a warm audio 8000 mic, also used with a lewitt 440 pure which also sounds nice and rich, would recommend for anyone doing vocals,

I run the Solo 610 with a Shure SM7B into an Audient interface, and it sounds absolutely amazing. You can color the vocal a little or a lot and it will respond. I love the warmth it adds to a vocal or a bass track, sits in the mix nicely. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

This is by far the most versatile tube amp for multiple uses. I love how compact it is and the fact I can use it on my microphone and synthesizers. I've had it over a half year now, and use it on everything in recording. UA is build solid!

This thing is built solid and has a warm tone you can dial in to your liking . I would say it works best with mics that are high on the top end or have a bright sound to them.. this thing will warm up your tracks . I paired mine with the Sure SM7B ! AMAZING!

Picked this up to add a different flavor to my studio. Until now my main pres were the BAE 1073s but after a few sessions with the 610 I can safely say I love it & haven’t used the 1073s since. Sound is big & warm + the option to overdrive is just killer. I also love how small the unit is & leaves me more room in my rack for other stuff. Buy it!!

I own a lot of great pres. This is probably my favorite on vocals. It’s definitely a colored pre and not great for stacking but there’s a great vintage vibe with this piece.
Also great on bass and electric and acoustic guitars. If you want to have some fun experiment with different tubes.
Pair it with a 414 or a u87 and forget it.

This is a great valve preamp. If you’re looking for a DI & mic inputs, this is the right choice. It adds a very unique color to your sound and distortion if you play with the gain and volume. Is very easy to use. Highly recommend if you are looking for class A preamp to your home studio or recording studio. You can also use it in your concerts.

The warmth of the tubes,the Lo cut switch,clarity of the circuitry, and the sound of this bad boy!!!
