These make setting up and tearing down your rig so much easier on your body. Yes they are sturdy and hold up speakers but unless you have placed heavy speakers on manual poles for years you don't understand the damage you are doing to your body. Plus how about that time you were pushing the speaker up with your shoulder so you could adjust the stand and the speaker came off or almost? It won't happen with these. Be kind to yourself get these.

As a DJ for over 25 years, sadly my back isn’t as strong as it used to be. These stands will literally take the strain off the heavy lifting and do the work for you. They even have enough lift to raise (with some slight assistance) my HEAVY Yorkville EF500P 15s - SOLID plywood boxes, no plastic or particle board here! Raising my QSC K12s is a breeze. I would buy another pair of these in a heartbeat, no questions asked.
NOTE: This may be obvious, but make sure that you put the speaker on the stand prior to opening up the valve and raising the speaker and when you bring them back down, make sure to tighten the top valve well before you lift the speaker off it. The last thing you want to do is to have to lower these stands without any weight on them, it’s not fun at all. Don’t ask how I know. It happened to a friend who recommended these to me - seriously!

This is a great stand for elevating your speakers with ease. The only thing I don't like is that after a number of uses, the screw on the legs tend to come loose and you have to hand-screw them back in. A small price to pay for a great product.

I think this is a well made sturdy product. I have heavy speakers and they do not wobble on the stands. I was hoping it was raise with the speaker on it but you have to do it before hand but it still worth the money.

These are very helpful stands and are pretty sturdy. Do be aware though that if you let them go without a speaker on top the hydraulic cylinder will raise the top of the pole up and it can be difficult to get back down. Also, the way the legs are offset takes a minute to get used to if you haven't used these types of stands before. They are a little heavier than some of the other stands. Not back-breaking, but it is something to be aware of. At the price, I think the bag should have been included - but I have gotten good use out of these.

I saw a DJ with this stand and I had to get one for myself. The look is great and the functionality of the hydraulics to help lift the speaker is great. I’m using a 15inch JBL EON 615 Speaker on it and it works great.

I currently have hand crank speaker stands which I really like but these hydraulic stands take "ease" to a whole new level. I had looked at these before so when saw them on "two fer" deal I decided to give them a try. So far I'm glad I did. We'll have to see how durable they are but seems like will make life a bit easier in this area.

Your general opinion of this product.
They are really nice stands but after a using them a while some of the screws came loose and you have to tighten them up. I have already lost a couple screws but found replacements. I have the k 12s..just put them on there and turn the knob and up they go
Good but watch out for loose screws as you use them! Also one of stands screws will not tighten. Must be stripped..When you try to tighten it keep turning
Very easy!
Hydraulic is awesome...I have 4 stands and one stand seems to raise up slow on it's on. Even when you tighten it as tight as you can.

One of the highest quality stands on the market.`I've just about tested them all.
Stand is very well made. Purchased to support my 96 lbs. speakers.
Fairly easy to use. Still have to apply a little muscle to control the hydraulics.

yes well made..too soon to tell how dependable. If the collar or knob gives out it's gonna suck.
rugged, pneumatic mechanism
The locking collar really doesn't seem to be strong enough for the strength of the pneumatics. To lock it down for transport takes an extraordinary amount of force on the knob to the point where you think somethings gotta give. Either the knob or your wrist.
