Easy to use, very functional design. Durable enough to use as stands for daily setup/teardown gigs, and would also be great with a house pa. Balanced weight so as not to make speakers feel too top-heavy. Would highly recommend!

I liked that the base gets really wide, so that if I set the speakers up high off the ground I feel like they pretty stable. They are light weight, and the bag I got for them actually holds my mic stands as well. The knobs seem to lock pretty tightly, and it gives me plenty of height for the applications I'll been using them in (bars, restaurants, etc).

2-pack is a great value for this heavy duty speaker stand

The heavy duty aluminum construction, along with the metal collars and strong tightening bolts make for a really dependable stand.
Although I've never used a speaker with a larger mounting hole, it's great that the adapter is built in. The retaining buttons have been improved since the last Ultimate stands I worked with.
The stands are quick to set up and the lightest part of the kit to transport.

Your general opinion of this product.
Love the TS80s. I'm using them with a pair of Peavey Impulse 500s. Those are heavy beasts (15" black widows) and these stands are more than a match for them.

Silver stands are on sale for $89.99 / pair!!! I suggest you buy them now...why not get 2 pair?

Quality is obvious and the hardware is extremely durable. Ultimate tripod stands are well-known in the music industry. Lifetime warranty...so don't settle for a less expensive brand.
Ultimate speaker stands have proven to be superior to all other speaker stands that I have encountered. Extremely lightweight, yet very sturdy!!! The only negative I have noticed is that the nuts on the end of the collars need some sort of retainer to prevent them from falling off if you loosen the bolts too much. The tripod has a unique core that makes them very stable with heavier loads.
Speaker stands are easy to use...if you find them difficult, maybe you should not be in the business.
This category does not apply unless you consider the fact that tripod speaker stands are designed to get your speakers elevated so that you may project the sound down into the crowd. I used to use Peavey SP4's for my main speakers. I found that TOO MUCH of the sound-volume was absorbed by the crowd. I cut the speaker cabinets down to create 2-way cabinets with matching woofer cabinets. I now put the 2-way's onto tripod stands and sound coverage has improved tremendously.

Good quality for the money.
I was familiar with these stands before buying a set for myself. The clamp system is much heavier than the old design and should not break any more. The quick adjust sleeve at the top is really nice and easy to move up or down. One of my small speaker sets uses the small diameter and the big Yamahas use the large diameter.

Your general opinion of this product.
I don't need a speaker stand that extends past 6'so the TS80 is the lightest, smallest, best engineered stand for a solo performer like me.
