Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Excellent build quality. Should be quite dependable. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only had it a couple of days but it should be quite reliable given the build quality. General Your general opinion of this product. See tone below. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It's a stomp box. Nice bypass switch. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I play a 5-string bass and use fuzz sounds at times. Despite the wonderful sounds James Gurley got on the "Janis Joplin Live At Winterland '68" album & others from his "Jordan Electronics Bosstone" fuzz (which this one emulates), my bass sounded very lame through this stomp box, very little fuzz, very little effect from the bandpass filter regardless of settings and worst, it robbed me of a couple of octaves of low frequencies. A tech at Voodoo Labs confirmed that this pedal is not voiced for bass guitars. So bass players, avoid this, stay with your vintage Big Muffs. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It was beautiful but it's a stomp box. Wonderful build quality however. Action How was the action out of the box? It's a stomp box. Sturdy bypass switch...
