What is your overall opinion of this product?
Great overdrive sounds, not much headroom, but that could be a good thing. Anyone who rates this negatively is probably lacking knowledge on how to use a vintage tube amp. You don't use it with a metal based guitar, or maybe you can? and the any person that rates this :- negatively just doesn't know how to play through a tube amp. It picks up all your playing characteristics of your techniques. It sounds huge through my 2x12 nite train 50 cabinet. it's actually more than enough at four what's for a regular size room it's actually too loud but that's what's great about cutting the Watts down to size. Sounds great with a Telecaster and Stratocaster.Used together with my other 5 watt practice amp in stereo, its tube saturation heaven baby! even at a quarter what set up properly in stereo it's like being in Rock and Roll Heaven. I can't wait to hear what it sounds like with upgraded tubes!
